Good as usual...  
Playmobil generally makes excellent toys and the cargo ship is no exception. Best if you have a small pool in the backyard but it can also be rolled around the floor without any problem. My nephew received his with great enthusiasm and sails alongside (or in mock battle against) his little brothers Playmobil pirate ship. It comes with fake coal (tiny bits that are guaranteed to get lost pretty quickly) but you can put whatever you want in the hold -- its even large enough for a Playmobil car.

The removable roof on the crew compartment aft doesnt snap in place quite right. Im not sure if this is a problem with our particular copy of the toy or an flaw in design (which would be unusual for Playmobil). My only other minor complaint is that it comes with only two crew figures and relatively few accessories compared to other sets (and considering the cost). : 2010-09-16 04:08:29

lots of fun in the tub  
This is quite large but our kids (now 6 and 4) love playing with it in the bathtub. Having few small parts is a blessing because theyd all be clogging the drain if there were any.
As with the other poster the roof on the crew compartment doesnt stay in place. I guess it is meant to be removed easily so you can play with figures in the cabin. The blinking buoys have lasted two years and counting on the original battery. : 2010-09-16 04:08:29

Great toy  
My son saved his money and bought this cargo ship by himself. He LOVES it. He has definitely gotten his moneys worth! He plays with it in the tub and in the lake. He loves to use different items as cargo and "deliver" the cargo from point A to point B. Definitely buy the underwater motor to go with it. Well-built great toy. : 2010-09-16 04:08:29
